The Technology behind widescreen tear offs

When light passes through transparent or translucent materials, its speed is reduced, leading to various phenomena such as reflection and transmission alterations. The more a substance slows down light, the more it reflects off its surface. With a standard single tear-off, light transmission decreases to around 92%. Adding more layers further reduces visibility, potentially causing blindness.

Our optical-grade Mylar™, combined with laminating technology and index-matching adhesives, enables us to create multiple layers in a single foil.

This retains the characteristics of a traditional single tear-off while providing you, the customer, with multiple tear-off options. Furthermore, we can stack multiple foils to achieve up to 30 tear-offs (depending on the application), minimising reflection and transmission loss.

Using multi-laminated tear-offs offers two key benefits. Firstly, it protects the surface in question, and secondly, it enables quick, repeated cleaning, making it ideal for public transport.

Reducing vehicle downtime is crucial for businesses, particularly in the military and emergency services sectors, such as police, fire, and ambulance services.

Rest assured, all our products are 100% recyclable.
